Is the generated termination letter legally valid?

The letter follows standard legal requirements under German Civil Code (BGB), particularly § 568 and § 573c, and includes all required formal details. For particularly complex cases (extraordinary termination, defects), we additionally recommend consulting a lawyer.

What is the notice period for terminating my apartment lease?

Tenants can terminate their lease under § 573c BGB (German Civil Code – tenant notice periods) with three months' notice to the end of a calendar month, regardless of how long they have lived there.

How do I cancel my mobile phone contract on time?

For contracts entered into from 1 March 2022 onwards: after the minimum contract term has expired, you can cancel on a monthly basis with one month's notice (TKG § 56 – German Telecommunications Act).

Do I need to send the letter by registered mail?

It is strongly recommended. A recorded delivery letter serves as proof of receipt in a dispute — and that is usually sufficient in court.
